Please answer me

Dear student,
As solid objects have a definite shape and size,as the molecules in solid are closely packed so it can not take the shape of the container, in which it is placed.
Whereas in case of fluid, the molecules are loosely packed, that's why it takes tha shape of container.
And in case of sugar, the granules of sugar arranged accordingly to the shape of container. but it does not means that a single sugar granule is able to change its shape and take up the shape of the container, as being solid, sugar comes with a definite shape and volume.
