Please answer these questions

Dear student, 
1. Option 'd' is correct because crushing of ice, melting of ice and freezing liquid water are all examples of physical change as the chemical composition remains same here. 
2. Option 'b' - burning of wood is a chemical change as wood once burned changes into ash and cannot be changed back to wood by physical means. 
3. Option 'c'- whenever a chemical change takes place new substance is formed for eg. When we burn wood the new substance formed is ash.
