Such practice therefore should be discouraged.

(ii) In Human female or in buffalo, the oxytocin helps for the contraction of the uterus during parturition, so that the baby can come out easily. Oxytocin is also known as Milk Ejecting Hormone and Birth Hormone.
(iii) Oxytocin is a naturally produced hormone which is released in the body only when it is actually needed. If it is intentionally supplied, then it will bring about non-occasional physiological changes in the body which is against nature. Thus it should be avoided.
