The intensity of the scattered light varies inversely as the 4^th power of the wavelength of incident light.$$\begin{gathered} Mathematically, \\ {I}_{scattered} \propto \frac{1}{{\lambda }^4} \\ as Red light has to highest wavelength (among the visible light) it scattered the least and violet has the least wavelength , among the visible range of light, it scattered the most \end{gathered}$$
