(a) For accelerated motion speed is not constant. 
(b) For accelerated motion, speed is not constant. Thus, velocity (speed with direction) is also not constant even if direction is same.
(c) It always not goes away from the earth. For example, a falling object possesses acceleration and moves in a straight path.
(d) For acceleration, there must be a force. When the applied force is zero, then the acceleration is also zero. (If F=0,then F=ma=> a=F/m=0)
