I. 1. Where does the traveller find himself? What problem does he face?

The traveller finds himself at a fork in the woods. There are two roads in front of him. The problen is the dilemma he faces: he is unsure which road he should travel by! The choice of the road is representative of the important choices we make in our lives: the decisions we take determine the course of our lives.
