Fire served early humans in many ways which changed his life to greater extent.Some of the uses of fire for early human were :
1.It was used as a protection against wild animals.
2.It was used to roast meat .
3. Fire was used as source of light.
4. Fire provided heat and warmth.

The early rock painting are found in Madhya Pradesh, in Southern Uttar Pradesh.
b. They contain paintings of wild animals such as tigers, bison etc.
c. We may give example, Bhimbetka rock shelters contain large paintings and depict early trace of human existence.
d. Some them also depict human figures, hunting etc.
e. They certainly give an insight about the nature of life that existed then that early human humans were mainly hunter gatherers.
f. Further, they tell us about the material, object used and also about their belief system
g. These paintings tells us about the tools they used like hammerstones.
h. It tells us about their way of living , about how they were involved in hunting and lived in temporary shelters, wore clothes made of animal skin.
