• In many offices both government and private work are done in English.
• If we know English, we can adjust ourselves almost anywhere in the world as English is an international language.
• Most of the global competitive exams are carried out in English.
• Most of the job interviews are carried out in English. One needs good command over the language to come out successful.
• English is an interesting language. There are many good words in English which make explanations easier.
• If you can speak English well, you can impress others.

Should not be continued

• English is a foreign language. We have achieved independence since long. Now we should follow our own national language, which will be easier for all. 
• Promoting our national language can lead to greater unity.
• In India, Hindi is spoken by majority of people.
• In state governments, most of the work is being done either in Hindi or their regional languages. 
• Countries like Russia, China , japan have progressed greatly by following their  own language in all cases. We may achieve the same level of success.
• English has divided our people into English speaking and non-English speaking. This hampers unity among people. With Hindi, no such problem would be there.
