Pollution monetary is the investment of the Indian government in projects and schemes which aim to reduce pollution. Some of the measures taken by taken to control pollution are as follows:

• Compulsory PUC (pollution under control) certificate fr vehicles that run on petrol. This helps in keeping a check on carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon emissions of the vehicle.
• Odd-even policy on vehicles.
• Increase in the number of public transport buses and metro trips.
• Restriction on industrial activities.
• Restriction on the burning of waste.
