Dear student, Rajasthan lies in the rain shadow area of the Aravalli hills and the rain bearing winds from Bay of Bengal cannot pass through them. Jodhpur, being in Rajasthan faces less rainfall compared to Kanpur inspite of being lying in same latitudes.
