Please help me in these science questions

Dear student,

1. Stomata are the tiny pores present on the surfaces of leaves that take in carbon dioxide from air for photosynthesis.
2. Lice, mosquito and cuscuta are all examples of parasites as they all live on a host organism deriving nutrition from the host and in return harming the host.
3.Ameoba digests its food in food vacuole where food gets broken into smaller and simpler pieces.
4.Pitcher plant perform photosynthesis, but because in the soil where it grows have deficiency of a certain nutrient called nitrogen, it completes its necessity by trapping insects. it may be also a partial heterotrophic plant.
5. Hydrochloric Acid is present in stomach.
Role of Hydrochloric acid in digestion
Hydrochloric acid activates pepsinogen which gets converted in to pepsin. Pepsin is an active enzyme that helps in the digestion of protein by breaking it into its simpler unit’s peptides and amino acids.
It maintains a PH in the stomach.
It helps in killing the micro organisms present in our food.

Thanks and regards.
