Q2. Construct a   PQR in which QR = 6 cm, PQ = 4.4 cm and PR = 5.3 cm. Draw the bisector of  P .

Dear Student,

Please find below the solution to the asked query:

We follow these steps to construct required triangle and angle bisector :

Step 1 :  Draw a line PQ = 4.4 cm

Step 2 :  Take radius of 5.3 cm and center ' P '  draw an arc and take radius of 6 cm and center ' Q '  draw another arc and that arc intersect previous arc at ' R ' .

Step 3 :  Join PR and QR and we get required triangle PQR  .

Step 4 : Take any radius ( Less than half of PQ ) and center ' P '  draw an arc that intersect line PQ and PR at ' A '  and ' B '  respectively .

Step 5 : With same radius ( Same as we take in step 4 ) and center ' A ' and ' B '  draw arcs and these arcs intersect at ' C ' .

Step 6 : Join PC and extend that so it will meet QR at ' S '  , So PS is angle bisector of P .
