Please help me with the answer and the solution

Dear Student, Sand does not dissolves in water. In a mixture containing sand and water, the separation method that can be used is decantation. The sand will settle at the bottom and water can be decanted. The wet sand can then be left for evaporation and hence, dry sand remains. Regards
