Please solve question no.2.

Dear Student,

a) Technically there are no unicellular animals or plants, only Protist but these organisms have animal or plant like cells. Animal like Protista have no chloroplasts and no cell wall.
Examples of animal like protists are the amoeba and paramecium.

b) Unicellular plants do not exist All true plants are multicellular.

Protista and fungi plant-like organisms are not plants. Some protists can be plant-like (e.g. algae) as well as animal-like, but classifications are still under debate (see e.g. Ambiregnal Protists).

c) Cell organelles are the specific structures present inside the cell that have specific functions to perform in different cell metabolic activities. They are mostly membrane bound. Mitochondria, ribosome, plastid, nucleus, endoplasmic reticulum, lysosomes, golgi apparatus etc are cell organelles.

d) The nutrients or pigments present within the cell are called cell inclusions. E.g., glycogen, lipids, and melanin.

e) Two examples of the stains which make nucleus distinct are Hematoxylin (used to stain the nucleus because it is basic in nature and there is nucleic acid and as a result of this there is purple discoloration of the nucleus of the cell) & Methylene blue (gives a characteristics blue colour to the nucleus of the cell and it is used for the study of the the blood cells).
