Lithosphere is the solid crust or the hard top layer of the earth. It is made up of rocks and minerals and covered by a thin layer of soil. It is an irregular surface with various landforms such as mountains, plateaus, plains, valleys, etc. Landforms are found over the continents and also on the ocean floors.
Lithosphere is the domain that provides us forests, grasslands for grazing, land for agriculture and human settlements. It is also a source of mineral wealth.

Dear student in this paragraph there is explanation about term lithosphere. The solid portion of earth on which we live is called lithosphere. In the paragraph it is explain that lithosphere is the top most layer of the Earth which is covered by rocks, minerals and also thin layer of soil. It has uneven land forms which varies from continents and places like mountains , pleateus, rivers valleys etc. It is a source of forests grasslands for grazing of animals, land for agricultural activities and humans settlements. It is also a source of minerals as we obtain many minerals from the Earth surface. Regards
