Will it work satisfactorily? Give reason.

Dear Student, We know that in the process of photosynthesis plants release oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide in presence of sunlight. In the given set a beaker with some lime water is shown with a plant leaf attached to the opening of beaker. This whole set is placed under sunlight but their no reaction will take place because here we know plant release oxygen because of photosynthesis and the lime water test with carbon dioxide which turn lime water milky due to formation of insoluble suspension of calcium carbonate will not take place. Hence, the set shown in diagram is not satisfactory. Regards
