Pls give the answer

It is true that a judge of the Supreme Court is not supposed to act on the direction and wish of the executive and the legislature. They are appointed by the President on the advice of the Prime Minister in consultation with the Chief justice of India. The senior judges take active role in the appointment of the new judges.Their position are not at the mercy of the executive or legislature. Their removal is also very difficult.

This clearly indicates that judiciary in India is independent and impartial. They can declare any law passed by the legislature as null and void or the actions of the executive as illegal if it violates the provisions of the Constitution. The judges of the Supreme Court protects the rights of the citizens and take action against the executive for their violation.
