Pls solve the problem pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls 7. A and B are two sets such that n(A - B) = 14 + x, n(B - A) = 3x and n(A n B) = x, draw a Venn diagram to illustrate the information. If n(A) = n(B) , then find the value of x .

Ans is 7

  • 6

n(A - B) = 14 + x
n(B - A) = 3x
n(A ^ B) = x
n(A) = n(B)
i.e.,
14 + x + x  = 3x + x
14 = 2x
x = 7

n(A-B)=14+x
n(B-A)=3x
n(A^B)=x
n(A)=n(B)
so then it will be
14+x+x=3x+x
14=2x
x=14/2
x=7
hence solved
