Some of these sites are in ruins due to neglect and ignorance of its importance. Preservation of such sites has to be done and awareness has to be created in the public about its importance.
The common people should be trained to keep such places clean by not polluting them and writing on the walls. If they know about the history of that place then they would definitely refrain from doing so. Pamphlets and handouts should be given out that highlight the significance of our culture and heritage. Documentaries should be prepared and shown to the people to emphasise the importance. Government agencies and non government agencies can combine their resources and efforts to achieve 100% result in this area.
