Plz...... ans I not understood this how to write. This is a narretive composition

It has been asked to write a narrative composition on the given topic of "My first day at the school"
You can use the given points and describe them so as to make a story.
Given below is an example of the same:
My father was transferred to a new city last year. I was going to attend the school for the first time that day. I got up early that morning and got ready for school before time. I was feeling nervous and excited at the same time. There were many questions in my mind, what would it be like in the school, will the teachers love me, can I make new friends, how will I cope up with the syllabus, etc.
When I reached at the school, I first met a fellow student. I asked him the way to class VI. He assisted me and I got to know that he was my classmate. He was very simple and seemed caring. He took me to the class and before the class started, he introduced me to all the other students. I loved the way they welcomed me. It was a wonderful feeling. Our class teacher, who teaches us English, came after a while. Before starting the class, she warmly welcomed me to the class. I must say she is one of the sweetest persons I have ever come across. Although I missed my old friends and previous school at times, the new school's advanced education system, friendly environment, and moreover, everyone's generosity and kind behavior have made me feel really great and comfortable.
