Dear Student

a) The narrator was exhausted.
b) 'Homesick' is a feeling of sadness because of staying away from home.
c) The speaker is homesick because he is in a land away from his home and longs to be back in his home.
d) He says this as he thinks about the route that he should take to go home. He wonders if he should travel longer.
