On connecting M with X
Resistance of 10 Ohm only would be consider since rest two resistors are not including in circuit.
Hence applying Ohm's Law here
V=IR
V= 0.6*10 = 6V
it means Cell of 6V is connected
On connecting M with Y
10 and 20 Ohm both will be included
Hence equivalent resistance = 10+20 = 30Ohm (resistances in series)
Again
V= IR
6 = I *30
I = 6/30 = 1/5 = 0.2A
Ammeter reads 0.2Ampere current
