plz explain me what r glycosidic bonds..??

A glycosidic bond is a type of covalent bond that joins a carbohydrate (sugar) molecule to another group, which may or may not be another carbohydrate with the elimination of water.  For example formation sucrose is formed by the combination of α Glucose and β Glucose. The C-1 and C-2 make glycosidic bond with elimination of water.
