Absolute measures are those measures that express the dispersion in the same unit in which the data is collected like meter, centimeter, rupees, etc. Hence, they cannot be used for comparison of the dispersion of different data sets. Measures like Range, Mean Deviation, Quartile Deviation, Standard Deviation, etc. are the examples.
