Plz make me understand the cell unit ????

Dear Student

These units tell us about the distance in the cells which are very small that they cannot be expressed in meters or kilometers.

One of them is nanometer.
Nanometer:A nanometer is a unit of measurement used to measure length. One nanometer is one billionth of a meter, so nanometers are certainly not used to measure long distances. A single nanometer is one million times smaller than a millimeter.

1nm=1/10 9 m
1m=10 9 nm

1 nm = 10-6 mm

10-6 meter is called a micrometer. An instruments which can measure distances in micrometers are also called a micrometer.

The ångström or angstrom is a unit of length equal to 10 10 m (one ten-billionth of a metre) or 0.1 nm. Its symbol is Å, a letter in the Swedish alphabet.

Please post other units in separate threads to have rapid assistance from our experts and also be little specific what are your doubts.

Regards
