2. a) The moral of the story is 'As you sow, so shall you reap!' As the Bora tree was unkind and cruel to others, God changed its appearance such that it became thorny and unpleasant. Its selfishness became its downfall.
b) The Bora tree should have inculcated the virtues of kindness, compassion and generosity. It should have used its fruit and shade for the service of mankind.
