Assuming you want to find median of 6,12,6,12,18,16
We first arrange the numbers in ascending order.
6,6,12,12,16,18
There are a total of 6 numbers and the median will be the average of the $3rd and 4th term (\frac{n}{2} and \frac{n+1}{2} term)$
The 3rd term and 4th term are both 12.
Hence median is also 12.
