Will the earths forest cover , stay the same 10 years down the line ?

The rate of deforestation has increased significantly which has reduced the earth's forest cover. If deforestation continues at the same pace then the forest cover of the earth will not remain the same. It will drastically reduce leading to climate change and global warming. But if measures are taken to plant more and more trees to outnumber the pace of deforestation then chances of forest cover to remain the same is acceptable.
