Functions of spleen - 
1) It regulates the amount and storage of red blood cells in our body and act as a graveyard of RBCs.
2) Along with lymph, it also helps in the production of white blood cells which defend our body against any pathogen.

Answer 11:
Peristalsis - It is a reflex response that is initiated when the gut wall is stretched by the contents of the lumen, and it occurs in all parts of the gastrointestinal tract from the esophagus to the rectum. It refers to the ringlike contractions of coordinated contractions and relaxation above and below the food bolus.
It helps in the mixing of chyme in the stomach and also helps in digestion.
