a. Tribes represented a section of society who did not follow the social rules and rituals of the mainstream society.
b. Many tribes obtained their livelihood from agriculture, they were hunter-gatherers or herders.
c. Banjaras  were basically nomadic tribes , who moved in search of new pasture land.

d. The Banjaras can be found in  Uttar Pradesh, Punjab.
e. They travel long distances selling cattle and other utilities to villagers they come in contact with. In exchange they take grain and cattle feed.

f. They carried grain on their bullocks from different areas and sold it in towns.
