Q. The image formed in the direction of object from lence called vertical but how is it possible light will travel forward but image is backward

This image is virtual. Light always travels forward but after reflection or refraction of two rays they either meets or appears to meet to form image.

In case of virtual image they appear to meet but not actually meet that's why image formed is virtual.
