Q) What are the nutritional requirements of milch cattle and draught cattle?

Dear student,

Milch breed of cattle refers to female dairy animals used to obtain milk and the production of milk depends upon their lactation period.   The nutritional requirement of milch cattle includes fat, protein, minerals and vitamins,  fibrous and non-fibrous carbohydrates to meet their energy requirements.

Draught breed of cattle refers to male animals engaged in agricultural fields for labour work like carting, irrigation, tilling etc. The main nutritional requirements of draught cattle as energy metabolites which supply working muscles are free fatty acids, acetate and glucose.
