Q. Who was Amanda? Write a few lines to describe her.

I want a good one page answer and pls don't send links of other Meritnation answers, I have already seen them.

The answer should be in easy language with no difficult words used.

Dear Student, 

Amanda was a girl who was constantly nagged by her mother for her mistakes. The extent of restrictions on her was so high that she had resorted to daydreaming for fulfilling her simple childlike desires. She was chided for biting her nails, not sitting in the right posture, not doing her homework, not cleaning her room, eating too many chocolates, disobeying, etc. All these restrictions and scoldings made her believe that the real-world was not a desirable place to live in. Thus, her mind abdicates realities and she starts living in her imagined world. In her virtual world, she is sometimes a mermaid living a calm and relaxed life in the sea and sometimes Rapunzel living in her grand tower.
