- Forest resource conservation is a major area of concern to protect our flora and fauna. For such purpose wildlife sanctuaries, National parks and Biosphere reserves etc. were there as protected areas for plants and animals maintained by the government undertaking agencies.
- On individual level one can spread awareness through various advertisements or by conducting plays to make people sensitive about such issues. Planting of more trees to reduce environmental pollution.
- Reducing deforestation a major cause which leads to the change in soil properties affecting the water holding capacity of soil. Due to deforestation the fertile lands would convert to deserts.
- A responsible forest management can help to increase the value of standing forests.
- By removing dry leaves one can prevent forests from the phenomenon of forest fire.
- Strict laws should be made against those who practised animal hunting to prevent the killing of innocent animals.
