(i). let the emf 1.02 V is at the distance 51 cm
so at the 100 cm it will be 10051×1.02=2
potential gradient= 2V/m
(ii). emf across the cell E1
(E1/E2)=(l1/l2)
E1=(l1/l2)×E2=(100/51)×1.02 =2.0 V
(iii). There will be no any change because this balance condition and no current is flowing.
