area of rectangle is l*b
in this figure the area of rect ABCD should be should be BC
into DC then why is it mentioned (AC*BD)?????????

Here, the diagonals of rhombus will contain the rectangle i e , the
diagonals of rhombus will form the length and breadth of the
contained rectangle

and breadth of rectangle = b = d2

So, area of rectangle = l Ã— b = AC
Ã— BD = d 1 Ã—
d 2
