Q9. The zero error in a screw gauge is 7 divisions with zero mark above the base line. The main scale has 10 divisions to 5 mm and circular scale has 100 divisions. The reading on the main scale is found to be 2 divisions and 36th circular scale division coinciding with the base line, when a wire is placed in between the studs of the screw gauge for finding its diameter. Calculate-
i) Pitch
ii) Least count
iii) Observed diameter
iv) True diameter.
