Cost of almirah = Rs 6250Money spent on its repairs = Rs 375Total CP of almirah = 6250 + 375 = Rs 6625SP of almirah = Rs 6890Since, SP > CP, so gain ocurrs.Now, profit = SP - CP = 6890 - 6625 = Rs 265Profit% = ProfitCP×100% = 2656625×100% = 4%

Actual Cost Price: Rs. 6250+ rs.375 (spent on repairing)= Rs. 6625
Selling price of almirah: RS. 6890
Selling price is more than cost price therefore Rahul had profit.
Profit: Selling Price-Cost price
     =6890-6625
    =rs.265
Profit percent: 265/6625×100
= 4 percent
