The sheet of paper is a square of dimension 1 m × 1 m
Length of each side of the paper, s = 1 m = 100 cmarea of paper = s × s = 100 × 100 = 10000 cm2

Now,Length of each side of square that is drawn on sheet = 5 cmArea of each small square = side × side = 5 × 5 = 25 cm2Number of squares that can be made on paper = area of paperarea of each small square = 1000025 = 400
