1. You work in a pet shop. Write a diary entry in about 150 words for the day 300 mice got out of their cages. You may include some of the following in addition to your own ideas:
- How did the mice escape.
- Describe the scene in detail.

- Yesterday, I had reached my work place a little late, after visiting a relative. The moment I entered the shop, I was shocked to see all the mice out of their cages, running all around the shop.
- I had to quickly join the other staff members in making about 300 mice return to their cages.
- The customers were petrified and hurrying out of the shop.
- We somehow got hold of the situation after about half an hour of running after the mice and managed to put them all back in their cages. A few customers even helped us.
- I later got to know that the mice had escaped due to the negligence of the workers who were responsible for feeding them.
- I found the whole incident a bit scary, but will nevertheless go back to the shop to work.
