sexual reproduction occurs in higher organism which has complex body structure that can't be form by asexual reproduction.
in asexual reproduction the parent individual has ability to produce new individual and need less time as their structure are not advance.

since, complex body structure need time and energy both to produce the new individual by sexual mode of reproduction, so it is slow .
