- Subhash Chandra Bose was a great and brave leader of our country who becomes famous as a Netaji because of his hard works.
- He was born on 23rd January in 1897 in a Hindu family in the Cuttack.He was very brave and brilliant from his childhood and physically strong too.
- Bose became an active member of the Congress in 1920's and participated in Gandhi's non cooperation movement.
- He however had ideological difference with Mahatma Gandhi as he pressed for more radical movement and call for full independence.
- He founded Azad Hind Fauj or the Indian national army and relentlessly sought the support of German and Japanese against the British during the second world war.
- It is believed that he died in a air crash in 1945.
