Should we number the carbon atoms in a condensed or non condensed structure? If we do not do so in ICSE boards, will it affect the marks?

Dear Student, It is not necessary to write numbering in any structure of carbon. But in Nomenclature of compound we should do the numbering which is also useful during Nomenclature for naming the compound. And it is not compulsory that examiner deduct your mark if you didn't mention the numbering.
