SINCE LIGHTS COMING FROM BOTH FAR OFF BODIES PLANETS AND STARS DEVIATE AND ARE REFRACTED BUT WHY ONLY STARS TWINKLE NOT PLANETS

Start are very far away from us therefore we can not see their disk and they looks like a point.
When light from stars comes to us through the turbulence atmosphere, point appears to move slightly and producing twinkling effect.

Planets are big enough so that light from one part fills in for another part, so they produce no twinkling effect.

the light from a star comes from a very small point as they are very far away while as planets are bigger in size as they are near to us hence the do not twinkle. and moreover stars have their own light and planets don't have their own light.

becoz planets are closer than stars therefore their light suffers less refraction and the average of the refraction is equal to 0.

Stars are very far from from Earth so less light comes from them and when they the light passes through Earth's atmosphere it get refracted so it looks like they twinkle. While Planets are near to Earth so the light passing through Earth dont get much refracted as it happens it stars.
HOPE IT HELPS
