Since objects that are charged due to friction have static electricity which is "static" then how does the charge flow from one body to another?

Dear student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query

Static electricity is an imbalance of electric charges within or on the surface of a material. The charge remains until it is able to move away by means of an electric current or electrical discharge.
So, charge can flow from one body to another through electric current.
