The Singh Sabha Movement was a movement organised by the Sikhs in Punjab in the 1870s in protest against the proselytising activities carried on by the Christians, Hindus, Muslims etc. The main purpose of the movement was to revive the the ideals and truth of Sikhism, the teachings of Sikh Gurus and restore the religion in its pristine form.
