If there were no Himalayas:-
Our country will be affected by the extremely cold winds blowing from central Asia.
The vegetation that grows on Himalayas like Pines, Spruce etc. will not be found.
It protects the country from foreign invasion, so in its absence our country would be prone to foreign invasions.
As India was a river civilization, without Himalayas and it's rivers, there would have been no civilization in North India.
Our country could not receive rains if there were no Himalayas and could not be described as the climate of monsoon type.
