Solve 3rd question of level-1

​Q3. Sum of all the interior angles and the exterior angles of pentagon is equal to :

      (A) 840°                                             (B) 900°

      (C) 960°                                              (D) 1000°

Dear Student,

Number of sides in pentagon , n=5
We know sum of all exterior angles in any polygon (pentagon  here)= 360 degrees
Also , we know , Measure of all interior angles in pentagon is given by the
formula =  $(n - 2) \times 180° =\left(5-2\right) \times 180°=3 \times 180° =540°$
Therefore, interior angle sum =  = 540

Now, Sum of all the interior angles and the exterior angles of pentagon - 360 + 540 = 900 degrees
So, the answer is (B).
