A train starts from rest and accelerates uniformly at 10 m/s2 for 10 s.Then it maintains a constant velocity for next 20 s.Then brakes are applied and train uniformly retards .It come to rest in next 5 s.
Therefore,find:
- Draw a velocity-time graph with proper labelling .
- Find maximum velocity reached.
- Find the retardation in last 5 seconds.
- Find distance travelled in first 10 s.
maximum velocity reached= 100 m/s
retardation= 20 m/s
distance travelled in first 10 s= 500 m
retardation= 20 m/s
distance travelled in first 10 s= 500 m
