(b) The cerebrum is the largest part of the brain and constitute four-fifth of its weight. The forebrain has sensory regions, which receive sensory impulses from various receptors. It also has motor regions, which control the movement of various muscles such as leg muscles.   A certain part of the cerebrum primarily controls intelligence, learning, memory, thinking, and the ability to articulate speech. 

(c) Neuron is the structural and functional unit of brain.

(d) Meninges are membranes that cover and protect the brain and spinal cord. 

(e) It protects brain from trauma 
It supplies nutrients to nervous system tissue 
It removes waste products from cerebral metabolism
